DESCRIPTION:The SIA Close Protection Top Up Course is for all existing Close Protection Licence holders who would like to renew their licence.  The course covers physical intervention skills\, knowledge of door supervison responsibilities and terror threat awareness. \nThe course will be run over 3 days from 3rd June – 5th June 2026 at Kings Training Rooms in Worcester. \nBefore attending the course you must hold a First Aid at Work qualification or above with at least 12 months before expiry.  If you do not have this qualification we can also provide this training for you as part of a package. \nWe have an exceptionally high first time pass rate and with professional\, experienced tutors\, what have you got to lose. Previously known as the “Top Up” course\, this revised course meets the SIA current standards\, and covers new content on Terror Threat Awareness\, Vulnerability Awareness (including spiking) and Physical Intervention techniques \nThe Refresher course is run over 2 days and will take place on Thursay 4th June and Friday 5th June in Telford. \nBefore attending the course you must have an Emergency First Aid at Work qualification or higher with at least 12 months before expiry.  If you do not have a valid first aid qualification we are also able to offer this training with the Top Up course as a package.  \nWe have an exceptionally high first time pass rate and with professional\, experienced tutors\, what have you got to lose.
